The Flat Rubik is a collection of two-dimensional computerized combination puzzles presented by puzzlemystery.com. A combination puzzle, also known as a sequential move or sliding block puzzle, is a puzzle which consists of a set of blocks which can be manipulated into different combinations by a group of operations. The object of the puzzle is to manipulate blocks by certain operations to establish a certain (unscrambled) end-configuration starting from a random (scrambled) combination.
The Flat Rubik puzzles consist of 4x4, 9x9, or 15x15 square. Each square consists of 2x2, 3x3, or 5x5 color blocks. When you click the "Start New" button the puzzle blocks are scrambled by the computer. For the puzzle to be solved, blocks should be unscrambled. Colors should be separated and each block must be a solid color (the numbers do not have to be in order). You can move blocks by clicking on square. Each Flat Rubik puzzle has different blocks sliding rules. Our collection includes the following Flat Rubik puzzles:
